It goes to show how email is becoming such a slow way of communicating.  ...another example of how mobile is used here more than in the states...I was just at dinner last night with some friends and we were talking about a website and next thing you know someone was showing me the site on their mobile phone.  You don't see that as much in the states.</description>

Despite what the CNN article said, I think the popularity of text messaging here definitely has to do with people not having/using PCs and web-based email accounts. They stay connected via cell phones rather than IMs, regular emails, MySpace-type social networks, etc.</description>
